The University of Ibadan had a total score of 69.4 with Research Performance Ranking as our major strength, though we ranked 1101. Thanks to our professors that work tirelessly, staking our name among world researchers in our own way.
Now coming home, the University of Ibadan (UI) actually scored 69.4, not up to 70, UI did not actually have 7 points as it were or the now 4 points as UI works her student up to strive for; even the great UI needed buffering. A passing comment actually; no harms intended.
Top of the list in the world is our very own Havard University, sitting as first, with a perfect score of 100, closely followed by Massechusetts Institute of Technology with an over all score of 96.7, with Standford University as third, all in the USA.
The list saw the University of Cambridge as fourth, and the University of Oxford as fifth. It is worthy to note that of the first ten univeristies, eight were from the USA, with Yale University siting as tenth, with a score of 90.7.
In Africa, the University of Cape Town ranked first, with a world ranking of 268, and a total score of 77.8.
